Not sure why I care, curious I guess, but what eligibility does he have?

RS his first year at Tech because of academic questions IIRC (1 of 5)
Played at Tech for a year (2 of 5)
Played at Memphis for two years (4 of 5, 3 of 5 with Covid?)
Sit for a year this coming year (4 of 5)
Play 1 year wherever he goes (5 of 5)

So best case he has 1 year and it's not this coming season? For a guy with 1 year eligibility, you would think a coach would want someone for right now, that seems to be the best way to use portal players. Unless I'm missing something, not sure why anyone would be talking to him much at this point. An available scholly the following year seems more valuable than a fairly average player with lots of baggage.
