Make sure it's with a well known investment house, like Fidelity or Vanguard, and not some "fly by night" house you've never heard of...lol If you part ways, you can take your investments with you.

I like this over a traditional pension system, because you still keep your investment if (a) you switch jobs, or (b) the company files bankruptcy.
