It's funny, well not really, I don't notice it unless it's very quiet. Or if something triggers me to think about it. Night times are a bitch sometimes.
Edit - I don't know if you've tried anything for it, but I have found acupuncture helps a good bit, at least for a while. The effect seems to wear off after a couple of weeks, but pre pandemic, I was going to an acupuncturist that would do groups of people in a room, not the full-blown one-on-one expensive stuff, about once a month. Once I mentioned it to her, she started focusing on that for me, and it really helped. Sadly, nobody is doing those type sessions around me now, so it's been a couple of years.
