I get feelings of guilt ...

about talking to my Mom - because really it is just listening to my Mom. She talks non-stop and 85-90% of it is about her physical ailments of the day. It gets really difficult to be excited to call her and to be patient while she goes on an on ... but I do it. My Dad passed very suddenly 6 years ago and I hate that I didn't get to say goodbye to him. Now that she is on her own I drive 45 minutes frequently to help her with all of the stuff he used to do for her - I am sure I will miss that when I no longer get to do it.
