Yup, when Virginia was completely looked over by most programs in the


country, Beamer locked it down for about 10 years. We got left way behind in the arms race and Virginia started getting picked over, so what Beamer did then really isn't relevant to today. Every program east of the Mississippi and Stanford scours Virginia's talent every single year. Penn State has been especially good at picking off talent the last few years, but I think people that think Pry can replicate Beamer aren't being serious.

I get the exuberance with a new coach that seems like he knows what he's doing, but it is beyond tiresome to think that Pry is the only coach in the country that develops personal connections and develops relationships. Or that somehow his personal connections and relationship development skills are somehow greater than anyone else's. It's basically people just believing he is a savior for no real reason.
