lacks enough detail and context to verify. You sure about your 9 hour claim? Athletic eligibility requires full time student status which, unless something has changed is 12 hours. The generalities you make are no where near accurate and Chris Smith(Chem E), Mike Johnson(Architecture) and Rusty Pendleton(Aerospace Engineering) are just 3 of the more high profile examples. Yes, athletes get help and they are often counseled to majors and/or classes that benefit their athletic commitment but, it is no where near as bad as you assert and no where close to the scam UNC was running.
