Every school has a few athletes who aren't great students


But you say: "The bashing of another school for class work by athletes is hypocritical IMO.".

UNC had a systemic situation for two decades where athlete's were able to get grades without every attending classes or doing any work. There is no record of that happening at VT, or pretty much any other school in the nation to the extent it happened at UNC.

That is a very different situation than having some guys who aren't great students, at least to anyone with functioning brain cells. There is no hypocrisy in pointing that out because our school has never come remotely close to the systemic academic cheating that went on at UNC.
