Anyone have a long haul college kid? (inside)

My kiddo (bipolar) is having a tough slog of it.
Calendar wise she should be a junior but credit-wise she is barely a sophomore. At this rate, worst case she'll need ~5 more calendar years of college. ugh

Has been going full-time but then issues pop-up and drops classes. And can't go part-time and stay on campus dorm (which she loves). FWIW - She does enjoy college and doesn't want to quit.

Obviously, never envisioned more than 4 years with my 529 plan but I can cover the extra cost out of pocket. So, money isn't the main issue but I hate to pay for full-time tuition but only get the part-time college credit. :/

So, anyone have (or had) a long haul college kid?
