It's a Catch 22. You need experience. To have experience, you're older.

Guys are hanging on too long, losing a step, not getting younger guys enough experience. When you start losing a step, you start missing calls, getting fatigued earlier in season and in game.

The guys with the legs and lungs to do it, don't have enough game experience, and honestly, would be eaten alive by some coaches.
