Would say American cars across the board are much better today.


They went so long with shoddy build quality that it's a steep uphill climb back to relevance. But if you look at Chevrolets, Buicks, GMCs, Cadillacs, Fords, etc., you'll see much better cars than 20 years ago, and it isn't close.

Even Chrysler makes pretty decent vehicles, but I wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole based on my past experience. My first new vehicle ever was a Dodge Ram pickup, and it was a rolling POS. Completely disillusioned me from ever buying another Chrysler product. Glad to hear the great reviews of their current Ram trucks.
