I can tell you that some Ivy League athletes have been told to keep quiet or face being removed from their teams and face hate speech charges. I also know that swimmers with NILs will not speak out or face losing their deals. At this point, Reka has far less to lose, but that should not minimize the fact that it took some courage to speak.
