But a rule is a rule. If ML was going to lose on a terrible rule (the OT riding time factor) I’d rather him win on a clear rule locking hands. It’s not the most fun way to win but it’s less frustrating then losing on a rule that, in my opinion, hurts the sport. Continuous OT is the only way it should be decided.
And the rule is the rule, PSU locked hands, ML should have a W and a championship. We can still celebrate his accomplishments and agree that the result was technically wrong.
