We developed the ability to pull away. We got up 3-5 points and were able to increase from there and/or sustain…a new phenomenon for this team that is really exciting and also begs more questions. Is this the team CMY and pre-season projections knew we were all along? Did we just get hot or is this new normal and hardwired in this team? I think there’s evidence that it’s the latter. We had some unfortunate games teams hitting everything and our guys going through slumps. But CMY knows what he’s doing and he’s developed a deep bench and a team of believers…this team is 100% bought in. That’s so huge in college sports since it thwarts momentum loss. Everyone of these kids believes in one another as evidenced by the comments team told Cattoor when he was in slump….that he’s best shooter in any gym. That’s special and 100% a reflection of CMY program and a recruiting gem. Let’s go Hokies!
