We actually got some good draws at 5 weights IMO.


Latona on paper is tough, but Shroder may be injured - he defaulted his last two B1T matches. And McKee has not exactly lit the world on fire looking at his record. I like Sam's chances to win the first two matches - and then get Suriano (Ugh). But hopefully that will get him in a position to win one in conso blood round.

Myers has a really decent run to semis versus RBY. Desanto is tough but it is the blood round and the path here is very doable.

Andonian also has a decent draw. Not sure Milner is as good as his record - no one of significance. Then Gomez which is tough but doable in blood round to meet Tariq in semis.

Mekhi, as you pointed out has a good chance for finals if he can get past Massa. About as good as it gets.

Bolen - he was bound to get a tough draw no matter what, but I like that he will meet Brooks in a second round match up - more chance to recover from weigh-ins. Pull the upset here and he should make semis.
