The Good
1 - Mekhi earns #2 seed. He's beaten the top seeded wrestlers (#7 E. Smith and #10 Lautt 2x) in his quarter this season. Great shot at making to the semis and a possible Massa matchup.

2 - BA while the #11 seed may be surprising, he avoids Yianni, Sasso, and Tariq quarters. #3 Gomez looked great at Big Ten, but BA has a chance to make a run. Possible Appy St matchup with Millner. BA did lose to Millner once, but the match was back in 2020.

Mixed
1 - Korbin gets #4 seed and a clear road to the quarters. He does have a potential DeSanto matchup in the quarters. He's also in RBY's half. McGee, Korbin's only loss, got the #3 seed. Bottom half way easier to navigate.

2 - Latona gets the #24 seed but would avoid the top 4 until the quarters. If he can get past Schroeder, he would likely wrestle Minnesota's McGee whom he beat at the NCAAs last season.

The Bad
1 - Bolen gets Orange's Assad in 1st round. Brooks would be his second round opponent. He will need to make noise in the consi's to AA.

2 - Trax gets UVA's Miller in round 1 and then a possible matchup with last year's finalist Mason Parris. Like Bolen, he will need to make noise in consi's to AA.

Brady and Gerardi both get #28 seeds. I would be ecstatic if one of them could earn a win on the consi bracket.
