3 Options. A coup in Moscow. RU victory in Ukraine. Nuclear conflict
In my opinion, again, just my opinion only, this will go down 1 of 3 ways. I've mentioned on here my wife is Russia and I've spent lots of time there and have at least been exposed to the culture. I certainly can't speak for any Russian or all Russian people, but just giving my Opinion.
1. Coup. The best possible result. They leave Ukraine, sanctions are cut in half giving the Russian people a way out and Putin is gone.
2. Russia gets a victory in Ukraine. What will victory look like? They will never hold it as that would be a 100 year insurgency as the Ukraine people will never quit, but....they destroy most of their cities and Russia gets a landbridge (their true intention in this war) and they agree to leave with concessions. Something like, Ukraine won't enter NATO for 20 years, etc. When they leave, thousands of Ukrainians will be dead and Russian soldiers picked off/sniped in the streets.
3. My biggest fear. Nuclear conflict. If Putin starts to "lose." If it gets to the points where he feels any jets brought into the country are resulting in Russia actually losing, or if a No-Fly Zone, you will see the Russian forces pulled back out of the cities and everyone will cheer and within 24 hours, a small caliber nuclear missile or more will be released. I just don't think Russia will accept "defeat." Why? I've said this before. Things like American Express, Visa, banks, foreign assets seized, basically where the common Russian person can't withdrawal money or eat or travel or use social media, they will resort to using a smaller nuclear weapon. Nukes are not all ICBM's. There are smaller nuclear weapons for example where 1 could destroy Kiev, but not effect anything over 100 miles away regarding radiation.
Only my opinions. I have no idea what will happen and don't know the future, but I'm worried.
