Thanks for your input! That's the same conclusion I reached...

...at about 12:30 AM when I finally decided to go forward with the purchase. I ended up finding the rifle chambered in .308 on Palmetto State Armory's website and figured I wouldn't dilly dally, as inventory seemed to be low everywhere else I looked. Hopefully I'll have it in my possession in a week or two.
