For people at companies that went to "unlimited PTO"
what did your company do for the hours that everyone had already accrued?
pay in full?
pay a portion?
pay nothing and say "You still have it, and now it's unlimited?"
my company pays out accrued vacation leave when you leave, which I think is required by law. There's talk of paying out 60% of accrued when they make the switch to unlimited
