I hear stories of young people having anxiety and depression

over climate change, the threat of the world temperature going up 2 deg, and their powerlessness to stop it.

And it get it. I honestly do. Feeling like the world is going to shirt and there is nothing you can do is a heavy weight on your shoulders.

But still, we Cold War era kids had to deal with the threat of the average global temperature increasing by a few million degrees in the blink of an eye. And I feel like the next generation is getting a taste of that brand of anxiety.

And no, that's not a good thing.
