Keaton was probably the second best Batman after Nolan

It is my understanding that the original Batman movies was supposed to have that comic book vibe to it which may explain why the quality got less with each movie made. It probably didn't help they didn't want to meet Keaton's demands because Kilmer and Clooney were definitely not right for the role. Heck even Arnold was the wrong choice for Mr. Freeze. That role probably should have gone to someone like Patrick Stewart if they were trying to remain true to the comics. Then there was the biggest goof of them all; Billy Dee Williams played Harvey Dent in the original movie and Tommy Lee Jones played the same character in a later movie. Oops!
