If their invasion is any indication, they will struggle to quell Ukraine.


I don't see how they do it without wrecking the country and it's people so totally as to render their "spoils" worthless.

Maybe that's good enough for them, but if they think their just going to decapitate the current government, install their own, and then use security services to keep the people in line I think they are going to have a very, very difficult time. The US in Iraq at least had some factions that were somewhat friendly or at least willing to work with us, I don't think Russia is going to have any internal allies in Ukraine.
