One of those players moved up several levels of competition this year. Said player does not appear to have the confidence in his skill level, as a 5th year player, to consistently play at the new level with winning effectiveness. His body language and performance in crunch time of games tells the tale, metrics be damned. Team is winning some in spite of this, because they have a star post player and several other capable pieces. Not a lot you can do as a coach though at this point. I would play Maddox more, but know his D is suspect. Pedulla is solid, and may be ready here late in freshman year to take on even more minutes as well.
