That place was a nightmare between getting screwed over by the company and being threatened with a lawsuit. The original company was small with very senior people with elite knowledge and skills. Every person in the original cadre was threatened similarly. We had discussed a class action lawsuit against the company but decided to just move on. There was a shift from when the company went from elite engineering expertise to "butts in seats". Meanwhile, that company won a critical task order in the group that I formerly supported. They lost that work within a year because nobody had a clue, so I got great satisfaction from that. I had full confidence of the GPM and the business area, and my replacement was abrasive and had no knowledge. It was awesome to see them fail and probably lose any ability to ever win another task order at that customer.
