Make the argument they pay large luxury taxes that many of the smaller teams just collect and don’t reinvest into their teams.

The nfl, other than the patriots, often has shorter success windows than baseball. Take Tom Brady out of the equation and it’s hard to see a pattern of large market teams dominating. Teams like the bengals rise up every so often but parody reigns in the nfl.

The Os can’t field a good team because of bad management. Not some disadvantage over large market teams. Camden was sold out through much of the 90s. Now they field bad teams but the owners don’t care that no one comes. They harvest money regardless and will ultimately sell the team for many multiples of what they acquired it for.

Tampa has crap attendance but has competed by filling holes in their team with smart money deals. Sure they can’t keep them long term but they ride the guys for as long as they can keep them. They have good management with similar resources r less than many other small market teams.

At least they try. Many of the other teams are content to put crap on the field and just harvest the tv money and the luxe tax from the larger teams.

Streaming revenue should have leveled the field in mlb more but again teams are content to take the extra money without upgrading the team on the field.

Frankly I think they should at least require teams to field a minimum payroll to get teams to stop some of the current practices.
