I actually don't think the OT rule is that big of a deal


Coaches harp on the 3 phases of the game all the time...offense, defense and special teams. I'm not sure why we can't expect a team to stop the other, kick the field goal and be done.

I mean if they change the rule I think that's fine too. I just don't think it's this big deal like everyone else does.

If you stop them there is a clear advantage to having the ball 2nd.
