Our guys are progressing just fine.


High expectations are normal but they need to be realistic. Most of the guys you mentioned haven’t wrestled many matches so it’s way too soon to draw any conclusions.

D1 wrestling is the most demanding sport in college. No other sport requires the strength, endurance, speed, flexibility and techniques to be executed without thinking that Wrestling requires. Add weight cuts while trying to stay both hydrated and fueled yet ready to grind hard for 7+ minutes. Plus wrestling matches while injured and being sick is very common.

Screen shot your post and revisit it in a couple years. Odds are, most of the guys you mentioned will be successful on the mat.
