Wow...nice insight. Makes sense on what you speak about TMJ...


And the thing that boggles my mind, with most dentists at least that I've gone to over the years, they are booked up weeks and weeks in advance...not like they need that side hustle anyway. They are ALWAYS busy!

I will say this, on a serious note. Not sure when it became common practice (if it is common) to examine for mouth cancer during standard dental visits. My dentist started this about 3 years ago or so (looking at the tongue in particular). And I do have a referral in January to get something looked at (fingers crossed). Hopefully nothing, but that is a value add practice that seems to have taken root in my experience.
