This is a bit old news it's almost the New Year, let's focus on future
but...Fuente was a college QB, he was a college QB coach, college OC and HC, he also coached Andy Dalton at TCU (who's had success in NFL), Paxton Lynch at Memphis (high NFL draftee and played in NFL), and Jerod Evans (successfully recruited Evans to VT and then broke many VT records in 1st and only season), so Fuente had some success with several QBs until Evans departed early (major unfortunate turning point for VT and Fuente), and in his 3rd year at VT (QB Jackson broke his leg, another major turning point), and we've stumbled switching QBs around ever year ever since then...so no, he wasn't a fake QB whisperer; he just had more success with earlier QBs than later QBs for a variety of reasons, some of which were out of his control and some that were in his control...
