I never said that - free and readily available tests are very important

I just think both sides of the equation are important but only one gets any attention or funding. And right now the ball has been completely dropped - with winter and Omicron coming, they should have anticipate an increased testing demand so we wouldn't be seeing the lines and waits we are right now - total failure. Plus, the Government doesn't actually even recognize natural immunity so when they say 75% are vaccinated they assume 25% have no immunity and that is just not the case. Also, if antibody testing were free, we could all say - ok, when I hit a certain metric it is time for a booster. Right now some people are getting the booster late and some are getting it when they don't need it at all. It is complete guesswork erring on the side of getting as many shots in arms as possible.
