It occurred to me that many here are saying it would be a mistake to hire
JC because he has no HC experience and some suggest Shane Beamer. South Carolina hired Shane who had no experience as a HC. JC has been coaching for 17 years. Each coach must start somewhere. We would not have to pay him 4 million in his first year. I say if he does a good job as interim under such difficult circumstances, he will have earned a shot at the HC job. From the way he handled himself in the press conference, I think he might very well be the right man for the job!
