had just recruited VA kids, he would have recruited better. If he had been more successful pulling in recruits from Virginia that doesn't necessarily mean his classes would have been better. The failures in coaching and on the field would have happened regardless. We would have traded one set of kids for another - unless we're all still pretending that we would have beaten out Alabama, Penn State, Clemson, Stanford, etc etc etc for the best players in the state. Why do people keep telling themselves this lie?
