I didn't read the article, but from what I can ascertain from excerpts,

I have to question the degree of truth it contained. Has anyone confirmed it? Former coaches, former players, former equipment managers, whoever? It just goes so far beyond normal reasoning to think a coach is so controlling that he demands his players basically follow a pre-ordained script no matter what. "I don't care about the outcome, as long as you do what I say!" If that is true, how could you possibly keep it under wraps? But if it is true, it answers all the questions about QB development and attrition. And as far as I am concerned, he can't get out of Blacksburg quick enough.

We may have to ask Adrian Monk to investigate.
