significantly depending upon criteria and one thing that used to damage VT in that area was that "prior work experience" was not as significant of an acceptance requirement as at other higher tier schools AND publications/research further pushed a difference. VT is well regarded in business in the places that matter including tech, accounting industrial and Wall Street. While Wall Street has always been Ivy League laden VT alums have made plenty of inroads. As mentioned above Lynne Doughtie was CEO/Chair of KPMG-US, you have the CEO at Boeing(formerly GE and Blackrock) and many more. Depending on the program he chooses AND the things he gets involved with in Pamplin the experience will easily rival some of the more household names.
