Serious question about VT academics


We live in FL and son recently completed applications for UF, Miami, and FSU. Just for kicks he applied to VT (business school accounting), afterward, I looked at various rankings and saw VT ware ranked for part time MBS, but undergraduate business was unranked - this surprised me. I know you can find a lot of different rankings for different things, but would have thought VT would have been seen as a better school. Does VT have a good reputation for undergraduate business do the big 4 recruit many from VT?
