My point is more that many VT fans have never had to undergo a complete

rebuild in football. Maybe we don't have some bad seasons to start with but it certainly happens when you bring in new staffs and overhaul things. And it happens at schools with better players, better resources, and/or better history than VT (FSU for one example, Nebraska for another). I doubt any FSU fans thought they'd only win 3 games last year but it happened and it hasn't exactly been a ton better this year. Rebuilds take time and patience and I'm not convinced our fanbase has the stomach for it.
