I think all travelers will be fine

it has been a long time since I have personally witnessed any poor treatment of an opposing fan base. I recall hearing of some dust ups after the LSU game in 2011, but again, I feel like the gameday experience has only improved and become one that is more welcoming and respectful. You'll still have the unintelligent and over-intoxicated "bad egg," but they are definitely the minority.

Father time is undefeated. The battery throwing and liquor bottle throwing generation from the 90s and early 2000s have aged. They just don't have the distance and velocity that they once had. Think Peyton Manning in the 2015 season.

In all seriousness, I expect all visitors to be just fine. I believe those who travel and have prior experience at Mountaineer Field will appreciate the renovations and upgrades that have taken place in recent years. You will see a much more aesthetically pleasing and functional stadium since your last visit.
