I also think that a school like West Virginia that’s trying to pull their academics up for residents should be applauded and not looked down on. The Academic Arrogance can often be misguided, you get the economically advantage, but I see institutions like the Military doing way more to help pull people out of poverty than the hand full of scholarship students that say a Duke or Notre Dame give out so they can feel better about having mainly economically advantaged kids.
