is a pipe dream. Losing out on a couple million now because you are concerned what the classmates may think of you down the road is incredibly short sighted. I imagine the real issue here is you are defensive from the get go. WVU fans have done the athletic department no favors with their behavior (and that's not just from VT but multiple fan bases have had issues with this). You being defensive is probably justified because of the reputation that WVU will bring with it, but the idea that you will be mistreated by the peer institutions is just absurd. By the way, I would love for WVU to be added to the ACC. The main thing the ACC sorely lacks when it comes to content is really fierce rivalries. A 'eer add wouldn't solve this problem but it would start heading in that direction.
