It's the same question really. If the SEC wants VT, then VT should do ...


...whatever it can to leave the ACC for the SEC. VT was clearly a better option than Missouri in 2012 but all we heard that "VT is home in the ACC."

Assuming the SEC does not want UVa or UVa does not want the SEC, then VT is the only SEC-suitable school in the country that can offer the DC metro area TV market - not to mention the state of Virginia.

VT would immediately be a more valuable property than Vandy, Miss State, MSU, Missouri (maybe), Arkansas, and possibly South Carolina - we would not be dead weight. So we need to make this happen now, not wait until we have to scramble.

I would assume the BOV is working on this, but then again those are the same people that thought the ACC was home.
