My problem with conference expansion strategy is that it is often not bold

enough. The ACC trying to go piecemeal to take the schools in the Big East for example. This just weakens future gets by leaving them in a bad situation.

And another problem is to leave outliers. Like BC for a time in the ACC and WVU currently in the BigXII. This just makes it difficult for the outlier and shows that the whole conference has continuity problems.

I think it's go big or go home time for the ACC.
