They would have to get enough schools to leave at one time that could vote


to disband the conference. With 15 members, you need 12 to vote to disband the conference. So that's not going to happen.

The Big 12 might disband, if ESPN can make it attractive enough for the B1G, ACC, Pac 12 and AAC to take all their remaining members in one swoop but they have to get all of them.

It's been stated that the Big 12 GoR is written in such a way that even if there is 1 member left in the conference, they will be able to collect all the exit fees and GoR buy out settlements.

I would say if ESPN was willing to give the ACC enough to add $10 million per year per school to our payments that we could absorb WVU and another probably Kansas. But that's an extra $3.5 billion over the course of 16 years. How much does ESPN really stand to make from Texas and Oklahoma getting out of the Big 12 early. Doesn't seem like it would be worth while to them.
