The only way OU and UT leave early is through negotiation


None of the parties involved want to wait 4 years for this to complete, given the animosity of the situation. But the Little 8 probably aren't going to give up too much of the guaranteed revenue. They'd probably keep it up for 4 years out of spite.

And all P5 conferences, as well as the AAC, have Grant of Rights contracts with their media deals. SEC was the last holdout, but it was incorporated into the current contract.
