I'm not as "into" alignment as I have been in the past.


We're all just hanging on to the SEC's big, long, shaggy tail and getting whipped back and forth while they wag it.

This go-round of realignment is just moving the deck chairs around on the Titanic. The SEC and Big Ten won a decade-plus ago, when they launched their networks while the PAC-12 screwed theirs up, the Big 12 didn't form one (thanks, Texas!), and John Swofford piddled around and finally launched SpurtleNet way too late.

It's over. It's been over for a while. The SEC and Big Ten are celebrities that we're watching and gossiping about. It's different for Clemson, but as a VT guy, my reaction is "Meh. Ya'll have at it."

I literally just made all that up, and I'm not *entirely* sure I feel that way, but you asked, and that's what came out. 😉
