Terry and I may come down on different sides of this discussion

I believe that ND for all intents and purposes has cast their lot with the ACC. But right now the ACC is in a weakened position due to their contract. That presents a catch 22, because we would add more money and a lot of content but that requires that we join in full. If, the ACC is threatened then we're in a quandary. This is where it gets difficult. The ACC needs to make bold moves that are enticing to ND. I believe that we would want to save it, but we want it saved being bold if that makes sense. Approach Pac teams, inquire about other alliances and think outside the box.

While ND alone would not close the financial gap it would close the perception gap. and that is important right now also.

I may reflect upon this more and see if I have more to say.
