some schools — enough to break GOR. You drop Wake, BC, Pitt, Syracuse, and Louisville. The money the full-time 14 members make could be redistributed among the 9. ND remains independent but agrees to go ESPN when NBC contract is up.

Motivations?
ACC schools - more money and no slow death
ESPN - props up your product and gets ND
SEC - questionable here. No less money but more product to be king
