That was never a reality, but so many people thought we were just going to fall into it.

These same people just can't get over the fact that Notre Dame can't be made to join a conference. Or, why Notre Dame doesn't want to join a conference.

College football realignment is noncongruent and asymmetrical.

I wish there was a College Football Czar to make it all right. But there isn't one. It's just a massive turf war. Gotta have your head on a swivel.
