I think we want B1G to go west

and for a non-ESPN partner to get all those rights. ESPN is a PR machine and while SEC will get the most attention ACC schools will get the attention when they are good. ND games help, too. This will open up some more ABC/ESPN time slots, too.

That doesn’t address tv payouts but there isn’t a magic bullet there. No available school increases the per team payout so I would hold at 14 and observe. B1G could become unwieldy and Penn State could eventually want to come to an eastern league — perhaps with Maryland.
