I don't think ND going all-in on football would be the boon many believe


ACC would get the ND home contract, valued around $15M. They would get 3 more games, 4 more if we go to a 9 game conference schedule. They would get official merchandise royalties.

Let's say ESPN would pay $40M/year for the home TV rights, merch, and 3-4 more conference games. That's an extra $2.6M per team each year. $3.3M if you're generous and say ESPN goes to $50M. Not chump change but really nothing to close the gap with B1G/SEC.
