I do agree, but wonder was JMU *really* going to win it? Had a couple wins in OKC incl OU, but taking 2 of 3 vs them would have been tough (as it was for anyone, even if an SEC or Pac-12 made the finals). FSU proves your point too.

I jus think in soccer, the ACC schedule is the best of the best. Certainly helps with SOS and seedings. If either of our teams can get back to the College Cup, they wouldn't be playing anyone better than what we would have faced in the regular season (and both lost to other ACC teams in the final four). Certainly does not mean someone else can't have success in the tournament, just think the chances of winning the title once you're there might be better.

Obviously many cases to prove me wrong - Marshall in mens soccer is a great example. Teams get hot and unstoppable and get great luck (strong performances plus upsets elsewhere along the way) - perhaps that's what you need more than the ACC "preparing" us.
