Thought about it last night when it looked like Miss. State...


was finally going to win the CWS after taking a 9-0 lead. I also like our chances of winning a team national championship before KSU just based on resources. Miss State felt more pressure to win one after Ole Miss won the women's golf title last month (their first NCAA team title). Technically, Pitt has never won a NCAA team title but they claim 9 football national championships. Ole Miss also claims a few football titles. I don't think NC State has won a national title since 1983. Pitt since 1976. Tech never. I'm hoping that glorious day will come before the good Lord takes me away. Softball or men's/women's soccer appear to be the best hopes with wrestling being another hopeful. The SEC $$$ has helped Miss. State get better in sports the past decade.
